Glossary: Spectral range

A with special filters defined range of wavelengths, in whom the infrared Sensor measures the temperature. Usually non-contact temperature measurements are at wavelengths at 1.0µm or rather 1.6µm (metalls), 5.2µm (glass) and at 7.5µm to 14µm (most nonmetallic Targets).
