Non contact strip thickness measurement of polished stainless steel (0.5 - 4 mm)

The measuring system MTS 8203.US has been designed for the non-contact, in-line thickness measurement of stainless steel strips. Due to unfavourable operating conditions in the grinding line, a one-sided thickness measurements is necessary.
