IR sensor without a controller

The enclosure of the CTlaser is used for the new thermoMETER CSlaser. However, in addition to the conventional sensor housing, the Cslaser has a controller built into the sensor housing. The integrated two-wire laser aiming feature marks the actual spot size at any measurement distance. This means that faulty measurements with small objects are avoided. The CSlaser has a two-wire analogue output, connected at the rear of the sensor by the customer. The sensor's signal output can therefore be quickly connected to a PLC. The signal output can also be transmitted via USB. In addition, an alarm output is included, a feature that is very rare to find in two-wire temperature sensors.
Two different versions of the sensor are available, which measure either from -50°C to 975°C or from 385°C to 1,600°C. The emissivity needed for accurate measurements can be set using the software provided or directly on the sensor itself.
