Micrometers with extra measuring range

Two new laser micrometers supplement the previous twelve models in the range. The two new models are called optoCONTROL 1202-75 and optoCONTROL 1202-100. The measuring range of these two new measuring instruments is 75 mm and 100 mm respectively. The new measuring ranges are almost double the previous measuring ranges. They are particularly used for applications where previously two sensors were necessary due to the measuring range. An additional controller unit is not required for these models. Nevertheless, the transmitter and receiver unit with a width of 30 mm has very compact dimensions. The measuring device operates digitally with a CCD array as receiver; in this way, a particularly high, independent linearity is possible. A convenient configuration software is included as standard, using which the measuring device is easily adjusted for the application. For even simpler commissioning, the target value can be adjusted for example by Teach-in or switching limits can be defined on the rear side using a potentiometer. The optoCONTROL measuring devices are preferably used in production and quality assurance for non-contacting and dynamic measurements on the running conveyor belt, on extrusion lines, in drawing processes, on machines and in machine tools.
