Profile Inspection system On-Line
The Micro-Epsilon Profilometer, ProfileInspection On-Line, installed on extruder lines, provides precision measurements of the overall dimensions of extruded rubber profiles. Using sheet-of-light laser scanning technology, is the device able to perform measurements continuously, contactless and independently from conveyor speed. On-line measurement system allows automated collection of product data, as well as providing the feedback necessary for process control. All these factors enable an improvement of consistency and stability of the profile extrusion process.
On-Line profile measurement system is preferred by Continental.
Profile Inspection system Off-Line
The Micro-Epsilon Off-Line Profilometer, ProfileInspection Off-Line, provides extreme precise measurements of the overall dimensions of extruded rubber profiles off-line. Using laser point triangulation scanning technology installed on movable C-frame, is the device able to perform measurements contactless with extreme precision. Off-line measurement system allows automated collection of product data. User interface for On-Line and Off-Line Profilometer are identical.
Off-Line profile measurement system is preferred by Continental.
Length Inspection system
The Micro-Epsilon length measurement system, LengthInspection, provides precise measurement of the length dimension of cut rubber profiles. Camera vision technology detects cutting parts of extruded profiles on strip conveyor. Based on precise movement of top camera positioned on axis and fixed bottom camera, the measuring system is able to measure distance between rubber profile cuts.
Length measurement system for rubber profile is preferred by Continental.
Colour Inspection system
The Micro-Epsilon Colour Inspection system, Extruder Line Colour Inspection, provides on-line precision measurement of the position of colour code, quality of colour line and correct sequence of colour on rubber profiles. Using camera vision technology, the device detects position of colour code on rubber profiles directly behind extruder. Colour camera presents a closed feedback for the frame system with colour containers controlled by a servodrive.
Tyre Geometry Inspection system
The Micro-Epsilon tyre geometry inspection consists of three laser profile sensors intended to detect bulges, depressions and tyre runout for passenger and truck tyres. The device is aimed for installation at tyre manufacturers and laboratories for tyre wear testing. The Tyre Geometry Inspection is a compact system with a solid and accurate transport system. Sheet-of light based sensors enable a multi track measurement; whole sidewall and tread is scanned and provides a complete tyre profile. According to the customer specification, the tyre geometry inspection eliminates lettering, performs filtering, detects bulges and dents, calculates radial and lateral runout, performs harmonic analysis, checks tyre dimensions, effect quality classification.
Meyer boulge and dents Machine retrofit ( based on Siemens and Beckhoff technology )
Overall reconstruction of the Meyer line for tyre geometry measurement consists of delivery of new electrical parts, pneumatic part, reconstruction of the mechanic part / delivery of new mechanical parts of the device – soaper, feeder, conveyor in the machine, service and marking conveyor, delivery of the control system (Beckhoff or Siemens), delivery of the geometry measurement system and SW for communication with the superior system. Standard shutdown of the line is 3-4 weeks. The reconstructed line has a unique control concept, which involves one industrial computer so soft PLC Beckhoff-TwinCAT or Siemens-Step7, WinAC RTX.
Tyre Uniformity Akron D70 retrofit ( based on Siemens and Beckhoff technology )
Overall reconstruction of the TU Aktron line for force and tyre geometry measurement - delivery of a new electrical part, pneumatic part, reconstruction of the mechanic part / delivery of new mechanical parts of the device – soaper, feeder, conveyor in the machine, service and marking conveyor, delivery of the control system (Beckhoff or Siemens), delivery of the geometry measurement system, delivery of the forces measurement system and SW for communication with the superior system. Standard shutdown of the line is 6-8 weeks. The reconstructed line has a unique control concept, which involves one industrial computer so soft PLC Beckhoff-TwinCAT or Siemens-Step7, WinAC RTX.
Marking station for TG and TU machines with camera test of mark quality
The device is intended for marking tyres on the basis of uniformity and geometry tester results. The device involves a service conveyor, conveyor, marking station and sorter. Two pairs of hot stamp markers are placed on the marking station, one pair for each tyre sidewall. After the marking process is the marking quality visually inspected by colour camera, regarding following parameters – circularity, saturation, colour and diameter for each tyre sidewall.
