Colour measurement on plastic profiles

Immediately after the extrusion of plastic profiles, the colour is monitored directly with the colorSENSOR CFO200. Depending on the production order, the reference colors are taught into the sensor in advance and customer-specific tolerances are defined. Thanks to the large colour memory, the sensor is able to reliably check the colour of opaque, (partially) transparent and completely colored profiles. This ensures that the colour of the plastic profiles is within the defined tolerance window. The high measuring rate of the colour sensor also allows it to be integrated into dynamic extrusion processes.
