colourCONTROL MFA

LED tests of function, colour and intensity

Multi Channel Colour sensors for LED colour and intensity

The colorCONTROL MFA is used for flexible colour inspections and intensity testing of LEDs, displays and colored objects. The flexible positioning of the sensors in relation to the objects, as well as their high repeatability, measuring rates and dynamics are particularly favorable. One colorCONTROL MFA monitors up to 28 test objects simultaneously.

Sensors

Operating the colorSENSOR MFA controller requires sensors that are used on the measuring point. The sensors reliably detect small light spots from 3 mm and can be individually combined depending on the measurement task. The high-quality receiver sensors with plastic fibre optics are particularly characterized by their small installation dimensions. This enables highly accurate testing at different points for individually arranged test specimens. The sensor portfolio covers a wide range of working distances and spot sizes. Other versions in different lengths and temperature ranges are available as options.

The MFS-10 consists of a POF (polymer optical fibre) and a PVC sheath with a cut end.

Due to its extremely thin diameter of just 1.3 mm, the MFS-I01 is ideal for use in very confined installation spaces. It is perfectly suitable for SMD-LED tests. The metal sleeve on the sensor head ensures straight guidance and exact positioning above the LED.

The MFS-22 consists of a POF (polymer optical fibre) and a PVC sheath with a cut end.

The M4 thread on the sensor enables easy installation and exact positioning above the test point.

This sensor has the smallest measuring spot and so the best light collection thanks to the improved coupling in the fibre.

This sensor has the largest measurement spot, allowing more variable positioning of the test specimens under the sensor. In addition, measurements can be made on a larger illuminated area.

The 90° outlet makes the sensor ideal for installation in restricted spaces where axial mounting is not possible.
