Monitoring the lathe

When turning the wheel tyres, laser triangulation sensors monitor the distance to the rotating wheel tyre. This means that the ablation is detected with high precision. High-performance sensors detect the dimensional accuracy of the wheel tyres at high speed and with micrometre precision.

Laser distance sensors are used to monitor the position of the wheel tyre. These measure from a great distance on the wheel tyre and check the correct fit during automatic clamping.
