Industrial confocal controller with single or dual channels

The entry level IFC2421 and IFC2422 confocal controllers are designed to offer a high resolution, high accuracy yet low cost solution where alternative solutions such as laser triangulation and other optical measurement sensors are already measuring at their limits.
The controllers are used for high accuracy distance and thickness measurements of diffuse, reflecting and specular surfaces. They offer outstanding value for money with high accuracy enabling the cost effective use of confocal measurement technology in high volume applications for machine builders, system integrators and continuous production environments.
Available as either a single or dual channel controller
The confocalDT IFC2421 controller is operated using one measurement sensor channel, whilst the confocalDT IFC2422 two-channel version enables both channels to be evaluated simultaneously, for example, in two-sided thickness measurements of glass bottles, laminated glass or hot glass. There is also a controller option available as a multi-peak version for multi-layer thickness measurements.
The sensors are designed for passive measurements and do not need any electrical components. Furthermore, they do not give off heat which makes them suitable for use in sensitive environments

Ease of use via web interface
Due to a user-friendly intuitive web interface, the entire configuration process is carried out without using any additional software. The web interface can be accessed via Ethernet and provides set up and configuration options. Taught materials are stored in an expandable materials database.
