What we're looking for:

We are looking for a person with a technical back ground who is a good problem solver, and can talk at a technical level with automation, quality and research and development engineers.

Your Task:

Candidate Profile:

A technical qualification in an engineering or science discipline is required for this role, Ideally NVQ level 5 or higher. Hands on experience of working in an engineering, quality or research environment is preferred. Previous knowledge of Micro-Epsilon products is not essential as full training will be given.

A proactive approach to dealing with new customer enquiries is essential. A good communicator, with the focus on building long term customer relationships is required for this role.

This is a full time, permanent position with an attractive salary and excellent benefits package.

Your Profile:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for new incoming enquiries
  • Discuss at a technical level in order to understand customer requirements
  • Work with the field sales team to review the requirement and determine the best next steps
  • Manage your own projects where you prepare quotations, technical documentation and proposals and supply to the customer
  • Be the first line of technical support for customer questions
  • Liaise with the company headquarters (Micro-Epsilon GmbH) for further product information and technical support when required
  • Occasional travel to customer sites and UK exhibitions/seminars
  • Occasional overseas travel for product training
