Colour recognition of kitchen fronts

In order to ensure consistent colour of different front panels, colour sensors from Micro-Epsilon are used. The sensors inspect the colour of the kitchen fronts in the painting plant. Colour sensors ensure that the colour shade is within the specified tolerances. Even the smallest colour deviations imperceptible to the human eye can be detected reliably.

The colorSENSOR CFO colour sensors are used in the paint shop as well as in the logistics area. In the paint shop, colour sensors check whether production-related colour fluctuations occur over time. In the colorSENSOR CFO controller, colour groups can be defined in which permissible colors including tolerances are stored. This allows a large number of colour shades to be taught in that are relevant to the production batch.

In the logistics area, the colorSENSOR CFO is used where different production batches are brought together. Since different furniture parts are made in different places at different times, it is necessary to check all parts to ensure colour homogeneity. The colorSENSOR CFO is used to detect identical colors. Kitchen parts that are outside the defined tolerance limits are sorted out, while parts with identical colors are assigned to each other.
