Inline colour monitoring of plastic bottles

Plastic bottles are frequently manufactured in different shapes and sizes. In this respect, colour homogeneity within the product range is of particular importance with brand products. Frequently, colorSENSOR CFO200 sensors are used for inline colour inspection of plastic bottles due to their high measuring rate and colour accuracy. The bottles being produced in different sizes and shapes present distance-dependent colour deviations which are compensated for by the colour sensor. The multi-teach function of the colorSENSOR CFO series enables the definition of colour groups which are used to teach in distance-dependent colour deviations. With up to 320 colors in 256 colour groups, CFO colour sensors are ideally suited to reliable monitoring of different productions batches and variants.
