The confocalDT IFC2416 / IFC2417 controllers impress with a high measuring rate of 25 kHz and exceptional light intensity. This enables precise and stable distance and thickness measurements at high speed – even on challenging materials and surfaces. Their compact design makes them the ideal solution for high-resolution measurements in almost all industrial sectors – from production lines to semiconductor machine construction. Thanks to the multi-peak option, up to 5 layers of transparent objects can be detected. The controllers are compatible with all Micro-Epsilon sensors, so that the measuring range, offset distance and special properties such as vacuum suitability, measuring angle or beam path can be selected as required.

Now also available as the 2-channel version IFC2417
With the IFC2417, a 2-channel version of the IFC2416 controller is now also available. The IFC2417 has two channels with a measuring rate of 25 kHz and performs multi-peak measurements with up to 5 layers. The low-cost and compact controllers expand the fields of application in the semiconductor, battery and machine building sectors. This means that double-sided thickness measurements can now also performed out with just one controller.

Precision meets compactness
Due to their extremely compact and unique design, the controllers require hardly any space and therefore fit into even the smallest control cabinets. Quick and easy mounting on a DIN rail facilitates integration into installations and systems. At just 460 g for the 1-channel version and x g for the 2-channel version, the controllers are also extremely lightweight.
Simple operation via web interface
Due to a user-friendly web interface, no additional software is necessary to configure the controller and the sensors. The web interface can be accessed via Ethernet and provides set up and configuration options. For thickness measurements, materials are stored in an expandable materials database.
